The title says it all. What is the popular duty belt and holster now for uniformed officers?

My current rig is a:
Safariland Buckleless Belt with Velcro Underbelt
Safariland 6280 SLS (Self Locking System, aka The Flip Top) Holster
Safariland Double Magazine Pouch
Safariland Radio Holder
Two Safariland Handcuff Cases
Safariland OC Case

The vast majority of peace officers I know are using Safariland Gear, either issued by their agency or personally owned. You see the nylon rigs here and there, but in my experience they just don't hold up like the Safari-Laminate or good old fashioned leather. I have been wearing my current setup for over 6 years and except for a few scuffs looks like new.

Hope this helps,
LeonCarr

The Safariland 6360 holster that adds ALS (auto locking system) to the SLS to form a Level III retention is also popular.

I see a lot of nylon Bianchi belts/pouches etc, especially in smaller departments. But still a place for laminate & leather. Velcro lined inner belts (to supplement and/or replace belt "keepers" is also prevalent).

Safariland and Bianchi seem to have a chokehold on the belts/pouches, with Safariland having an inordinate amount of holster market and the much-debated Blackhawk Serpa being next most prevalent.

Edited to add: Serpa seems more prevalent in EDW (Taser) holsters.

I use a Serpa Level III for a holster; the rest of my duty rig is a bit of a mix-and-match, as I've replaced pouches over the years with whatever was handy and worked. I started out with Safariland and Bianchi; the only original piece I have left is a Bianchi magazine pouch. Radio, cuff, and flashlight pouches have all been swapped out, some multiple times, due to wear and tear. I have no idea what brands they are; they just work, and I'll use them until they break and I replace them again.

It seems that real leather duty belts are hard to find, especially if you want one without a buckle.

Most I know have moved to the nylon and kydex stuff due to weight and comfort.

I use leather gear. Most of my stuff is Safariland, but I do have some Boston Leather for a light holder and OC case.
