hello members, I am a new user but I have a question that is concerning me regarding my chl application.

I am a 50% disabled veteran for "anxiety disorder not otherwise specified as panic disorder".
when I filled out my application online I don't recall there being anywhere for me to mention it.

My first question is.....will an anxiety disorder prohibit me from getting my chl?
note: I have never been admitted for my anxiety. Also.. the only time I spoke with a Dr/ phycologist was to
complete my disability claim process. Otherwise I go about my day like any other normal person.

Second question is....will the eligibility department even see that I have a service connected disability for anxiety?

Honestly, I wouldn'y worry about it. You have to be judged as having a unfit mind by a doctor in order to be disqualified. I would think if you could legally purchase a firearm then you're ok..

looking up Anxiety Disorder after reading this post.
also read VA anxiety disorder disabailty.

I am not sure what they will or might do
It may be that you have to document from the Psych dept.
