To liberals some animals really are more equal than others

Craig Walker, an Idaho Department of Fish and Game regional conservation officer, became aware of the incident the night it occurred and began an investigation. In his report, Walker wrote that his office received a phone call from an unidentified woman who said she saw a falcon take a duck from the air and then went to the aid of the duck and tried to scare away the falcon.
When the falcon remained in place holding the duck, the woman said she removed a scarf that had beads on it and beat the bird.
"The woman later stated that she had been very upset about the duck being injured, but felt bad about injuring someone's pet, because she 'beat the crap out of it really hard,'" the report states.
So apparently, not only are there politically correct people in the minds of "progressives," but politically correct animals. George Orwell was truly a man ahead of his time. Some of the comments after the article are particularly amusing. Those from Idaho claim that while there may be nutty people in Idaho this nut has to be a Commiefornia import.

I don't know if federal laws apply to birds of prey used in falconry, but most are under federal protection with very severe punishments for molesting them . Even possessing a feather is a major no-no. I wonder if they'll pursue if federal regs apply?

Those only apply to people who pick up feathers they find on the side of the road.

Progressive liberals think they can and should control the food chain as well as climate. Apparently, they are fixing what God got wrong.

Apparently, falcons should be vegetarians.
Although, who stands up for the lowly carrot or potato? Don't they deserve to live?
So, it would seem liberals like her should simply stop eating and save the world.

If those opposed to so many things were forced to obey their own prohibitions, the world could be saved.
