Had a Nice Trip

My bride and I just returned yesterday from our trip to Virginia for the submarine crew reunion. We combined the trip with a religious pilgrimage to EWTN's facilities in Birmingham and to the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Alabama. We had a superb time, saw a bunch of old friends, grieved over lost brothers, and swapped lies for several days.
I was stopped for speeding in Hanceville, Alabama by a city LEO. 73 in a 55. He let me off with a verbal warning. Since AB is a not required to inform state the subject of firearms never came up.
I OCed in Virginia while traveling. I never saw another OCer. No one said anything. It was a non-event.
One thing I did notice is that gas is cheaper once you get outside of Texas. I think we are getting ripped off. Usually the stations on the interstate highways are higher but consistently unleaded was $2.05 a gallon.
Good to be back.
