This is a great deal for anyone that's in the market for an AR. This price is getting into "sporter" territory.

Here's a better price

Dunham's has a store in my old home town. By BIL bought one $599. He had a $50 off coupon and a $50 rebate which brought it down to $499!
You can find them pn Gun broker in the upper $500 range including shipping.

I agree, the price you posted is lower, but I don't think you can compare a Colt LE6920 with a Bushmaster polymer rifle and claim they're equal.
BTW, no I'm not a Colt snob.

Do Colt's still have the non-milspec pushpins? That turned me off to them in the past.

I was going to forward this to my BIL, but thought better of it to not make him too sick. He paid around $2400 for his magpul 6920 at the height of the hysteria. I told him he should wait at least 9 months and that nothing was going to be banned. This is even a better a deal than I got for my slightly different 6920 several months before the hysteria.

I bought one for my wife way before the hype. She hasn't shot I much, but it has been a great rifle. I like my Daniel Defense, but would perfectly happy with the LE6920.
I have shot a Bushmaster Carbon and I personally didn't care for it.

Not for many years.

Carl, what was it you didn't care for? I have shot my BIL's and it did very well for me.

Keith I did not like the weight. My Daniel Defense is a lot more heavier and the Colt feels heavier to me. I also did not like the pencil barrel. It probably has nothing to do with its accuracy or its endurance. For me it was not the right "fit" (if that is the right word).

I can understand that Carl. You are a much bigger guy than I am, so could see how the lighter rifle might not be as good for you.

FWIW, I'm not what anyone in his right mind would call "petite", but that lower weight is one reason I love my Bushy Carbon Fibre AR. Paired with a Nikon p-223 scope, it's one of the lightest packages out there, and it feels "just right" in my hands. My son, though, is like Carl in that he prefers something more substantial as far as the weight goes.
Have you shot one, yet, Keith?

Wow! I'd pick this up in a heartbeat to replace the one I sold to Carl (glad that was before this came out

) but California bans the 6920 by name so I can't even turn it into a California approved FrankenAR.
