Not exactly accurate. He used his concealed carry permit to use a shotgun?? I hate the media. Even when they don't interject their personal opinions (which is extremely rare), they don't get the most basic facts correct.

Even when they are close enough to hear it, they aren't always close enough to stop or prevent an incident. Glad the Uber driver was prepared and willing to act.
Police patrolling the area heard the shots and arrived to find Custodio on the ground and bleeding. Police also recovered a handgun found near Custodio, Quinn said.

The driver pulled out a handgun and fired six shots at Custodio, hitting him several times, according to court records. Responding officers found Custodio lying on the ground, bleeding, Quinn said. No other injuries were reported.
