Now that
Justified has run its course, props from the set are being auctioned off. I was looking forward to sporting my Glock 17 in a Raylan Givens holster....except that the two available are now up to $900 (each) and there's still about four days to go. Plus, of course, 24% buyer's premium, plus S&H.
Sigh. So bummed, I would have been stylin' on 01 Jan 16. Champagne tastes, beer budget.
Judge Reardon's red speedo that he wore under his robes is still available for a reasonable price, tho.

I lost interest in that show after the season when Margo Martindale was the "big bad". But I'd have sworn that in the early seasons, Raylan Givens used a .45-cal Glock 21. Isn't that what he uses to shoot a very important character in the chest from across a table in Season 1?
Edited to add:
Just found the answer, and as usual it has to do with Hollywood's complete ignorance of firearms:
Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) carries a full-size Glock pistol as his standard sidearm. In "The Hammer" (S1E10), Raylan tells Judge Reardon that his pistol is a ".45 Glock", suggesting that his sidearm is a Glock 21. Upon closer inspection, the Glock pistols used in the series all appear to be the 9x19mm Glock 17. (In later seasons, numerous close-ups also reveal that Raylan definitely carries the Glock 17.) Nearly all of the other Deputy US Marshals in the series also carry the Glock 17, including Chief Deputy Art Mullen (Nick Searcy) and Deputy Marshal Tim Gutterson (Jacob Pitts). In the series premiere "Fire in the Hole" (S1E01), several Glock pistols can be seen among the armaments in the trunk of Chief Mullen's SUV, when he reaches to collect some weapons and ammo to confront Crowder's two "fat" Neo-Nazi thugs. FBI agents also carry Glocks, notably in "The Collection" (S1E06).

When Raylan and Boyd meet for the first time (in the series), I think also in episode 1, Boyd asks Raylan what kind of gun he used to shoot that guy in Miami. Raylan says "Sig" altho in the scene he was clearly using a Glock, just like every other time.
And of course there are massively multiple instances of revolver cocking sounds when semi-autos are drawn, and Boyd and Colton and numerous others always seem to be thumb cocking their semi-autos, or pointing them at people with the hammer forward, etc etc.
(Also, I think Raylan has probably shot more people than the rest of the US Marshals Service combined, since its inception.)
I watch the show cuz it's fun, not for the technical knowledge.
And I'd love to have one of those holsters. They are up to $1100 dollars now. With the buyer's premium and shipping that's almost $1400. Jeepers.
They are made by
Alfonso's of Hollywood

I loved the show and hated to see it end. I have mixed emotions on the way it ended though. I thought the whole reason Raylan was leaving was to be with his (ex)wife and daughter only to find out she had remarried and only gets visitation with his daughter. I guess he is closer to her though. I too overlooked the "technical knowledge" of it and watched for the entertainment value. I have to do that with many movies and shows these days.

I haven't seen one episode, but thought I remembered seeing him with a 1911 in commercials before the premier. Did he ever carry one?

I just started watching Justified on Amazon Prime. Pretty entertaining but crude at times. I noticed the technical errors right away. I really have issues with submarine movies, but I digress.
Having worked extensively in eastern Kentucky I can relate to the show. My sister-in-law grew up in Ashland and told me that the show is an accurate portrayal of Harlan County.
I'm not sure why the good shows like this and Longmire don't last while the trash and crap unreality shows last forever.

Not that I ever recall. Like anygunanywhere I am watching the series on Amazon Prime, for the second time, actually - I watched all the free ones, then my wife got interested and we're watching them again. There may be been a barroom pickup tho, Raylan gets in a lot of brawls.
Tho now I do seem to remember some thug got the drop on him and challenged him to a duel of sorts where he had to grab a gun off the table -- that might have been a 1911. I won't totally spoil it for you, but Raylan cheated to win.

IIRC the producers and cast wanted to end the show on a high note so it didn't turn into trash. They wanted it to be remembered fondly rather than it going on and boring us until the network killed it. The man who wrote the books that the show was based off of died at the end of last season I believe.
It was my favorite show on TV so I'm sad to see it go but I'm glad it went the way it did.

Reardon coming out in his Speedo was hilarious but me spending $200+ for a Speedo would be hilariously insane.
I guess Timothy kept the Stetsons since I don't see them listed? I can't blame him because they're awesome. It's a Stetson Carson with a custom band if anyone was wondering. I see that Stetson and FX teamed up to make a "Stetson Marshall" which is a cheaper hat but probably looks just as good.

Well, don't tell anybody, but I made a modest bid on a couple of items.
I've enjoyed Justified as much as any show I can remember, and I'd like to have a
piece of it to go with the DVD Collection.

Why not contact the makers of the holster to see if they are inclined to produce them for you?
Alfonso of Hollywood Leather Co.

I looked at the website already -- Raylan's holster is not a standard item for them, altho I am sure they will custom make one. I just wanted
Raylan's holster, (not just a copy), but I don't want it $1400 worth.

That was the FIRST thing I looked for, but I figured either he would keep them, or the price would go astronomical. I guess he kept it, or them.
What I can't believe is that his RING is going for $3500 (last I looked). I've watched Seasons 1-5, plus I watched Seasons 1-4 again so far, and I never once noticed that ring. It's just a horseshoe ring, not really fancy, no jewels, heck it's only sterling silver. $3500.

I thought that's what the hat (if it was auctioned) or the holsters would go for, but a sterling silver ring?

Alas. The auction is over and Raylan's holsters finished far outside what I would contemplate paying.
The belt loop version went for $2600, the paddle version went for $2500.
His ring went for...$17,500.

yumpin yiminy, I am flabbergasted. And plus 24% buyer's premium, so that's $21,700. The next most expensive item was one of his name plates at $2900.

That is insanity! I, like you, never really saw his ring. I think I remember an episode where it was mentioned but his holsters had far more screen time. People are weird.
