Shout out to Ruger - fixed my LCP free

Got back from the range, and went to field strip my Ruger LCP for cleaning, but noticed that the takedown pin head had broken off and the remainder of the pin was still imbedded in the slide (the pin requires a tool to pop it out, to remove the slide). This most likely happened at the range, but it meant I could not break it down or shoot it, not knowing about any other damage. The gun is almost two years old.
Got on Ruger's web site and explained the issue. They gave me a number to call, and from that they sent me a prepaid Fedex shipping label (my experience with that discussed here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=77404" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )
Long story short, LCP arrived back at my door from Fedex ten days later, new takedown pin, plus they replaced some springs and guide in the slide, and threw in a cleaning cloth. They said they put 24 rounds through it and it checked out fine, and today I put another 50 rds downrange and she's happy.
And I'm happy. Uncompromising service.
