Burglary.......Friends wife chases BG(s)

Hi....I normally don't post on here....I just like to read,but I feel the need to tell this.A friend called me today all excited and asking about hand guns and CHL req's etc....this all comes from a weekend robbery and today the BG's (3) came back for more while his wife was home alone.Saturday they noticed a tv missing from the garage that was slated for donation to their church.The neighbors saw the guys load it up and drive away....but didn't think nothing of it.So,they called the sherriff,filed a report and assumed that was it.......This morning his wife goes out into the garage and theres the 3 bg's looking for more stuff.They hop in the car and split.....she gives chase in her car......still in her house coat...no weapon........no cell phone!!!!....She corners them on a dead end street and there they sat looking at each other.It's like the dog caught the car now what???...she took the plate # and went back home and called the sherriff....they told her the plate was good,it matched the car etc.She gets upset because they don't come out and look for the car and bg's.
So...she gets dressed and goes out hunting....she finds them!!! and the car....parked at some trailer park.She calls the sherriff and they come out..."we don't see the television in the car ma'm"....no kiddin.....they knock on the door of the trailer and a woman answered and she tells them that the car belongs to "other people that live there but they were'nt there right now"........ok.. have a nice day,sorry to bother you.
Now,my friend could care less really about the tv,the tresspassing is the issue.He has been a lifelong friend of mine,but never was a gun person.His attitude has changed now.I told him first....I would buy a dog.....then I would be glad to get them heading in the right direction as far as CHL,weapons,and some training.I also told him his wife needs a good "scolding" for her actions.The Lord was watching out for her.
