I just dont understand....

If the BG hadn't brought the gun into the store, there would not have been a shooting in the first place.

From WFAA-TV Staff Reports
Balch Springs A suspect was killed during an armed robbery attempt in Balch Springs around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
The shooting was reported at the Big 5 grocery store in the 1400 block of Peachtree Road in Balch Springs, which is east of Dallas.
Authorities said the suspect entered the store with a shotgun, the clerk fought with the suspect and the suspect was killed.
Police said they have to plans to file charges against the clerk.

Certainly, there's more to the story than what's stated in the article. An armed robber enters a store with a shotgun and the clerk twarts the robbery and kills the robber... and they want to press charges. There's got to be more to this.

I'm pretty sure that last sentence has a typo and should read "Police have NO plans....." etc

I am hoping this will be nothing more than forwarding it to a grand jury.

Yeah, I realized the same thing a few minutes ago. I just went to send them a message about it using their Contact Us form, only to find that the form doesn't display in my browser. Anyone else want to send them a correction message?

Yep, that looks like a typo...One of the "to's" needs to be a "no"...
