Decided to do a little cleaning at my office...went through my rolodex/business card stack...it was getting a little ungainly...found an old business card for Omar's Ammo, Omar Kateeb. Brings back memories of going to all of the DFW area gun shows and buying (what I would consider) great and low-priced ammo! Anyway...what ever happened to him? Still in business? I did some google-fu and nothing turns up, other than old (7+ years) posts talking about him, his ammo, nothing recent. I still remember that his .223 55 grain ballistic tips were some of the sweetest shooting stuff I've ever used! Wish I still had some of his ammo...especially at those prices from years ago!

I guess no one remembers....I feel old...at 44 LOL!

Did you try calling him? I know it's a long shot, but worth a try.

He could be what I call a 'gun show gypsy', making a living by only setting up a table on the gun show circuit. I'm sure they come and go quite frequently. I wish you luck!

What is a 'rolodex'?

I called (or should I say, tried calling) years back - number disconnected. Searches show that the number belongs to someone else these days.

Oh dear, just opened a box with 9mm ammo and a card from Omar's ammo. So, I still have some... and wish I could find him to restock.

A blast from the past! I still haven’t found a comparable .223 ballistic tip round. Anyone have suggestions?
