Obama to White House heckler: 'You're in my house!' - CNNPolitics.com (there are a lot more sites out there)

A few quotes from the article:

"Obama was speaking at a White House event honoring LGBT Pride Month on Wednesday, an accented voice rang out from the crowd. Obama wasn't amused."
"Obama responded, "Listen you're in my house ... it's not respectful."
"As a general rule I am just fine with a few hecklers. But not when I'm up here in the house," he said, as Vice President Joe Biden clapped him on the back. Obama said later if guests are "eating the hors d'oeuvres and drinking the booze," they're typically expected to listen respectfully."

He actually thinks it's HIS house! It is not by any means HIS house! It belongs to the people and the people (not me BTW) are allowing him to live in it!

If anybody does not think that this shows his true nature and contempt for the people of the United Sates they need to wake up! :banghead:

{rant off}

While I am no fan of his, I think you are over reacting a bit and I find it quite amusing and "Human" of him to react that way.

Possession is 9/10ths of the law right ;)

That's what Hillary must've thought when she was loading up the semi-trailers with all that White House stuff! :lol:

Max is right. It's not obama's house & we paid for the food and booze. Free speech has never ended at the door of the White House before & him saying it is arrogant. I cant find anything about his entitled sentiment respectful. :mad5

Yes, technically it's not his house. But this was an off the cuff response to a heckler and he was probably going for a laugh. Well, the jokes on him when he gets his eviction notice in November of 2016. He'll have until January 20th, 2017 to get his butt out.

I had the same first thought. It might be his temporary home, but it's the People's House.

The best reply to bambam would have been, "No you are in MY house, and only temporarily."

I am betting that trans-gender illegal who heckled the President is going to make history as Obama's first legitimate deportation.

Or at least "and not for long".
