Just Joined; CHL In Process

Howdy, folks! I just joined this forum over the weekend and I have been working on getting my CHL. Here's my timeline:
6/29/15: Submitted CHL Application Online
7/2/15: Digital Fingerprinting done
7/11/15: CHL class completed and CHL-100 submitted online
7/28/15: Status changed on website
7/29/15: Plastic arrived in the mail
My father gave me a Sig Sauer P229 that he purchased from a friend years ago, and I have a Crossbreed Supertuck holster that I have been using to carry my Sig around the house to break the holster in and get used to carrying.
I'm looking forward to keeping up on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of great folks here with a wealth of knowledge.
Glad to see you are carrying around the house to get used to it. That is normally what I recommend when I welcome someone.

Here's an update on my CHL (see original post above) - I just noticed today (7/28/15) that when I log into the RSD status page, it now presents options for change of address, report lost license, etc.
Based on what I've seen from others, I'm guessing my plastic will arrive in 7-10 days!

Congrats! FYI, mine was in my mailbox the day after those options showed up. So keep an eye out. I don't think the online status is real time.
