Remember the Santa Ana, California, cops who were caught on video munching on what seem to be cannabis-infused chocolate bars after raiding an unlicensed medical marijuana dispensary in May? The Orange County Register reports that three officers who were suspended after the incident are trying to stop the Santa Ana Police Department from using the footage in its internal investigation. Among other things, their lawsuit argues that the officers thought they had disabled all of the security cameras at Sky High Holistic and therefore had a reasonable expectation of privacy. The cops complain that the dispensary never got their permission to record them as they searched the premises.

Kalifornia somehow breeds a different mindset when it comes to right/wrong and good/bad.

This is what the "it's only wrong if I get caught" mindset / moral compass breeds. It isn't a real surprise to see it throughout society when we as a group elect "representatives" without regard to moral fiber or character. Sad, yes, but surprising, no.

I wonder! How did happen that three representatives from the low end of the bell curve were all on the same SHIFT and raid? :headscratch OR are they all on the low end in Kalifornia? :biggrinjester:
Edited for typo - sorry 'bout that!

My guess is that THEY are not on the low end...being in Commiefornia, the leadership is dumbed down and politicized, and that kind of corruption ripples through the ranks.

You may be right. Bruce Jenner (he was Bruce when he killed the woman in a wreck) will not be charged with vehicular homicide because cops said he was just not paying attention when he rear-ended and pushed her car into a head on collision with another vehicle. Probably just be charged with following to closely.

I don't think this has much to do with California as much as I think it has to do with behavior on camera... Just another vote for "always on" cameras attached to those that work for the public.

I can only assume they were still under the influence when they crafted this complaint.
