Sales Tax Holiday
Aug. 7 - 9, 2015

This year’s Sales Tax Holiday is Aug. 7 - 9. As in previous years, the law exempts most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks priced under $100 from sales and use taxes, which could save shoppers about $8 on every $100 they spend.
No mention of gun-related items, or items priced over $100....

I am about to buy a new safe too, so it would have been nice to spare the sales tax......but I'm not holding my breath. I think we are both going to have to pay it.

I think he was referring to a few of the bills that were close to passing in the last lege. Unfortunately they did not pass, so no gun tax free holiday.
