This reminded me of something. I use to work at an airport and I would wear ball caps of my choosing. Normally I would wear one that had NRA on it.
I was in a meeting and before it got started one of the engineers asked me what the letters NRA meant. I replied, "Not a real airport." I got a couple dirty looks and a couple of laughs. It wasn't long after that they required us to wear hats with airport logo on it. They supplied the hats so it wasn't bad at all. Not sure if my remarks had anything to do with their decision or not. I just put a NRA pin on it.
