John Lott on CBS News tonight

Just got this email:
John Lott will be appearing on the CBS evening news tonight to discuss gun control issues. The show will be on at 6:30PM EDT, though it is not clear at what time during the broadcast they will have Lott's segment.

Just got this this morning.
Sorry for the false alert yesterday. CBS Evening News decided to pull the segment at the last moment because they wanted to edit it more, but it is my understanding that they will definitely run it this evening at 6:30 PM EDT. Anyway, I apologize for the false alarm yesterday.

It would be interesting to see the complete interview from before the edits and then compare it to the results after the edits.

Yes it would, but you can bet the raw "footage" from the original interview is buried next to Jimmy Hoffa.

No doubt about that. Especially since they delayed airing it for more editing.
By the time they finish, it may sound like Lott is pro gun control.
