Is there a new rush on CHL

Hearing all of the longer wait times, I wonder if there is a sudden rush on getting a CHL before January? Your thoughts

I'm not hearing that at all RP. But I have to admit, this forum is the only gun related board I hang out on.
And the people who hang out in the "Waiting Room" are consistently reporting 2-4 weeks in getting their license after all paperwork is received by DPS.

I'm not seeing it with my classes. Pretty slow right now.

My paperwork was submitted on 08/03, website has already updated and according to the nice lady at the RSD the card is in the mail. So 3-4 weeks...

I have heard both ways, either 3-4 weeks or a couple of months or more

My renewal was submitted by mail on 7/16, check cashed 7/30, new license in hand on 8/24.
Door to door in 39 days for a renewal.
