Gun Cleaning Tip

I imagine most of you have a bench or work area for cleaning and lubricating your firearms. Over time the area can become quite messy and smelly with solvents and oils spilled all over the place.
My handy solution for keeping my bench area clean, especially when I am working with solvents and oils, is to tear off a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper and use it to cover the bench area I am working on. Then I simply throw it away when I am done and tear off another sheet. You can get the stuff cheap at Wal-Mart or HEB.
Hope that idea might help some here.
