I really liked the article. The kid it centers around is more than a little scary.

I know the media would never get behind it, or even take remote responsibility, I do wonder what would happen if the national media stopped reporting these incidents. What would happen if the next Dillon and Klebold only got minimal local attention and that was it?
Could it break a part of the chain?

I have to admit that the ascendance of the internet and social media gives plausibility to the theory of "riot behavior" over larger time and distances than is typically considered. Society continues to evolve, and some changes are neither welcome nor good.

Was an interesting article. All I have time for at the moment was a skim, but definitely going to go back and read it when I get the chance.
