There is always some way for my collection to eat more money. "rlol" "rlol"
1) Nighthawk full length rod
2) Wilson Combat extended slide release. I added this one as my thumb could not reach the slide release while reloading.

I am not sure why Ed Brown does not have those pizzaz standard.

Nice looking Brown, Beiruty. In fact, it looks new and well cared for. Is that a Brown thumb safety?

Lots of folks dislike FLGR and extended stops. I've got no experience with the guide rods, but my limited experience with the stops wasn't good. They get in my way.

Good looking pistol.

I assume so, as I bought like this. I am the second owner. Mine has an optional magwell too.
Here is a factory photo:

The safety's rear profile and width look a bit different than the one on my Kobra Carry. Is your safety an ambi?

In any case, your pistol is really nice and appears to have some custom upgrades such as that Novak adjustable sight. My first guess was your thumb safety was also a Novak but I think I may be just being confused by the photos aspect ratio. Thanks for sharing!

I had misfire at last East Dallas meet. I called Ed Brown and they offered a $99 service that includes:

1) Replacing recoil spring
2) Replacing the main spring (hammer?)
3) Full ultra sonic cleaning
4) Test fire
5) Replace any broken parts under warranty.
6) 2-days shipping both ways.

I took the offer and today the Pistol came back. 1-4 done, no broken parts but under the hood, internal parts were full of grease! Test fired, report says everything is normal. Finally, it was cleaned and oiled.

The pistol now feels like new out of the box. the recoil spring is heavy and the slide is heavy to rack.
I am very satisfied with Ed Brown, Co. :anamatedbanana

Beautiful 1911 there, I almost bought one similar some years back after shooting a friends, I have a dilemma of a Brown - Les Baer - Wilson , I got the CQB Wilson about 15years ago and love it.

Save money and get Les Baer, let me know how do you like. Ed Brown and Nighthawk are very nice and they are like the Cadillac of 1911. But if Les bear prove accurate as they claim, you got a winner. They look very decent too.
