Glock 19 Shoots A Bit High and To The Left

Other than use Kentucky windage, which I do, what would help fix this?

I don't recall exactly, (it's been a few years since they were installed) but I think the sights are Truglow and aren't exactly adjustable.

Thanks!

I have the same question. I just got a brand new Glock 19 and it seems to shoot a bit high and to the left as well. I haven't shot it from a bench or anything, but it definitely prints differently than my shield. I still have the stock sights on mine.

Same here but with a different cause. I owned a G32, G17 and a G26, I tried othe Glocks from friends and no matter which one I shoot it goes left.
I was adjusting sights on my G32 to compensate, let my son shoot it and it went to the right. Tried the G17, my son hit the center and when I shot it went to the left. The same happened with a G20 and a G21 from a friend. My shots go to the left.
If I shoot my HK, a SIG or a CZ I hit the center.
My conclusion is the grip ergonomic and my hand size and shape are the cause. My pointer finger on both hands are slightly curved which may contribute to the given fact.
My solution was to sell the Glock even though its a great design and known for its reliability.

Get rid of the plastic junk. PM me and I'll make arrangements to take it off your hands. Other than that,

Can you bump the rear sight over a little? I know several people that say Glocks are set up for a 6:00 hold so it may shoot a little high if you aim dead center.

Since the 1980s (when I hated Glocks for shooting too High,) I learned
1) I shoot a Glock 26 better than a 19, 17 or 17L (Long barrel)
The shorter the barrel/slide, the less high it shot (might be just me)

2) Replacing stock sights with Advantage Tactical Sights and using "ALL the shims" on the front sight fixed the shooting too high issue perfectly for me. (Note: Using ALL shims of ATS sights on XD45 makes them shoot too low)
Can you bump the rear sight over a little?
:iagree:

I carry twin Glock 26s daily since 2008 or so (with ATS sights)
Prior to adapting to Glock, I could only hit a barn with 1911/ or Taurus/Beretta 92 type guns, now Retired LEOs at the range tell me to carry my 26s as they shoot most accurately for me now.

A big "Thank You" to everyone.

Andy C,

I'm not sure as to the precise distance, but probably in the neighborhood of 25/30'.

I was going to recommend this. Keep in mind that everything here is reversed for lefties.

I also have a Glock 19 that shot high left. I went with a set of Trijicon Night Sights that were installed at Boyert Range in Katy, Texas. The gunsmith installed them while I waited and they shoot true on target at 7 and 15 yards.
