That is very pathetic. Not entirely unexpected from the news these days, as it all too common now. They are more and more illiterate, non-factual, and irritating every day.

As a journalist you have to take several English language as well as creative writing classes. As such the level of poor writing skills and even worse language skills I read from on-line "journalist" is appalling. Not only should they be condemned their editor is even worse!

They overlooked including the word "man".
It should have read: :"Gunman killed In Shootout"

I have had a person tell me that if a gun is in a house, that it will cause someone in the house to get shot ... And here I always thought that gun safes were to keep people from getting at the guns -- not to keep the guns from getting at the people!
