Winchester Train and Defend from Shield 9mm

Not an extensive test, but I fired 8 rounds of Winchester Train from one magazine and 8 rounds of Winchester Defend from another magazine yesterday and they all went into less than a 2" group from about 5 yards. Not outstanding accuracy, but I'm no target shooter, and I was shooting offhand, firing every time the gun came back down out of recoil. The most important thing is that the POI was the same as the POA for both rounds and there was no difference in the recoil.

Sounds like Winchester has achieved their stated goal of having a practice round and a carry round that shoot exactly the same. :txflag:

I've been really interested in these rounds. I just haven't done enough research on the defend line to pull the trigger so to speak on them. It is good to hear that they have similar trajectories tho. I guess it may be time to start looking a little deeper.
