Do You Moan and Groan A Lot?

I do.

Can't be certain when it started, maybe in my fifties.

Now, as an almost septuagenarian, (Geezer) I groan at almost every turn. Or moan when I think of the various chores I have to do, like putting on my socks...

Why do I bring this up?

My wife, who does almost the same amount of groaning as I do, complained of my ah, sound efforts, yeah, that's it, sound efforts.

I was forced to remind hhe snores like a wood burning locomotive going up a steep incline. So much so, that she has to wear a Cpap mask hooked up to air push gizmo to stop the snoring. So there!

Do you moan and groan a lot as you've gotten older or is it just me....and she who must be obeyed.

O.K. I stole that line from John Mortimer whose character Horace Rumpole refers to his wife Hilda, but I digress...

I'm 48 and moan and groan all the time. I figure it's from years of being a baseball catcher, but my wife just laughs at me and says, you ok old man.

Nope! I never ever moan & groan unless I'm by myself or with someone. ;-)

Yep. My dog does, too. The wife says he's imitating me.

My granddaughter picked it up from me and now she groans too. She is two years old.

About __(20 something, more or less)___ years ago when I was about 45-ish, my oldest girl said "You're making Grandpa noises" .... "The same noises Grandpa makes all the time"

"A lot" is a relative term. I do moan and groan an appropriate amount. BTW, Mrs. Oldgringo, who is four days younger than me, and I both sleep with a C-Pap device. That tends to balance out the night time noise.

Oldgringo,

"I do moan and groan an appropriate amount."

An appropriate amount is a relative term...hee, hee...

So, I would guess us geezers moan and groan whenever: We stand up or sit down, pick something up off the floor, heck, pick up anything for that matter, and I'll stop right there, groan...

Yes after working out legs. I'm lucky to walk after heavy squats.
