Proper 30.06 signs

I see a lot of discussion about correct 30.06 signage. IMO if a business has a sheet of notebook paper with words "no guns" and "30.06" written with a crayon, they can live without my business. Any half hearted effort on their part is enough for me to take my business elsewhere. I am referring to retail businesses, restaurants, movie theaters and such, not medical facilities. Sometimes we have no choice about entering medical facilities, but retail establishments we do have a choice. I choose to walk away. I may or may not leave a "no gun = no business" card.

Who wants to be a test case for a sign that the lettering is not exactly according to state statues? Not I.

I dont think anyone wants to be a test case

HOWEVER, if the sign is not legally enforceable, I will walk past it ALL DAY LONG!

The law is the law... period.

Of course, you 'may beat the wrap, but may not beat the ride' comes to mind, but if I am following the letter of the law, I will chance it!

If a business puts up a half hearted sign, it might just be to make some of their customers feel "safe". I'll walk past it.
