Alternate "fixes": http://www.thehighroad.org and/or http://www.thefiringline.com

Both probably a little more civil than what you see with the AR crew, but less than what you see here ...

And hey, tx and cwood even showed up a day or three ago at http://www.glocktalk.com. The rain must have 'em really lookin' for sumthin to do. ;-)

ARF?

http://www.AR15.com

An excellent site for all things Black Rifle!
Although you can find stuff for AKs, SKS, and Pistolas there as well.

The "Equipment Exchange" forum is chock full of goodies and people, which is usually the only forum I really delve into.

Did not connect. I'm on AR15.com, thought this might be an alternative AR forum.

It's back up now.

I took some advice and checked out THR and found Taurus armed.net as well as http://www.snubnose.info

Arfcom is fun because there is so many posters from all over the world and I find out about some news before many big new channesl broadcast it.

I was in Beaumont Texas in my hotel room after teaching all day. Not a whole lot for a married guy to do alone in Beaumont and stay out of trouble.

Yo comprendo.

' Got a (married) PPO buddy on 2-week gig down that way just now. Mega-rich client with desire to do "Gentlemen's Clubs" every night. He (not the client) asked for prayers. ;-)

That is a tough call. I have turned down investigative jobs that would have taken me into such a place, but on a long term assignment where you are contracted to provide a service, I guess you just have to do it or risk being sued AND blackballed.

Yep, and he's committed to a longer stint for similar routine with same client in NYC in a few weeks ... Good $, but ya know what they say about when Mama ain't happy ...
