Black Friday NICS (edit) checks

Think about that. How many seconds in a day? How many seconds in a business day? 11 hours in a business day. This averages 5 transactions a second!
Ponder that, 5 Firearms transfers were approved by the NICS system every second. That is 185,345 transactions."

I wonder how many of those checks got a delayed or denied status? 100% approval on the NICS check seems a bit optimistic on all of those.

It's NICS - NCIS is the tv show or the actual division in the Navy that investigates, neither have anything to do with firearm background checks.

Yes- trying to proof on a Iphone is proving difficult for these old eyes

Understood, the auto correct is a pain too (it changed two words in this short post when I was trying to respond on my I phone).
