Hi

I enjoy the responsibility of owning a firearm.

I have just recently bought a Glock 21C, Fires the 45cal round not to cheap but fun to shoot.

I had Tru Glo night sights put on the gun and a extended slide release installed.

Bought the gun because I was looking for a accurate pistol for the CHL course.

I was a poor ok shot with my buddies S&W 40. It had a long travel bumpy pull trigger but I could keep it inside of the targets at 45ft,

Later I tried his XD-40 and was getting it a little tighter at 45 and 50ft.

5 to 15 seconds between each shot.

I test fired a few different guns along with a Glock 19.
I really fell inlove with the accuracy of the 19.

The 21C is a fun gun to shoot.
Truly makes a novice look like they know how to shoot.

Im always open to advice or suggestions.

Is it ever going to stop raining?

When I was new to shooting, I spent a lot of time focusing on the proper grip and stance.

Welcome.

Welcome, Roberts!

You will find the forum is divided into two camps - those who Glock and those are still hopelessly stuck in the last century with their 1911's.

BTW, better make friends with Carlson. I think he has the right idea. Gathering up the animals two by two and moving to the boat...

we should change it from dfw to ddf "does dallas float"

Anyways when I was going through fast reaction training in the military one thing I always worked on was breathing...a lot of people dont but youd be surprised how much better your shot gets when you learn to control breathing. I dont mind shooting any weapon from a .22 to a 50 cal...its all basic mechanics and process.
