In case you missed the announcement just made in the past couple of days, Amazon has released additional details about its Mobile Deployed Target program. Yes, it's true! For the low low cost of a package delivery, Amazon promises to dispatch a mobile target to your choice of locations. Utilizing advanced sense and avoid technology the Amazon mobile target is able to adjust the degree of difficulty for each individual shooter as detailed here:

And creative shoppers can only wonder at the possibilities of pairing a mobile target delivery with an order of a butane six pack!
Amazon demonstrates the use of the target and also how placement of the target "baiting station" would work (the video shows positioning of the bait which is then acquired by the mobile deployed target, as demonstrated by the nice lady placing the bait in the open at the end of the gun range which can be seen here: http://www.amazon.com/b?node=8037720011). It is however, unclear as to whether the initial bait is also sent by a mobile deployed target....which would significantly increase the degree of difficulty in achieving your first score.
Neither Cabelas or Bass Pro has yet announced plans for sale of a new mobile deployed target hunter's stand, but it seems clear from the Amazon video that it should be quite easy to build your own onsite.
I have to say that this looks more promising than any skeet range I've ever used and I very much look forward to Amazon dispatching these mobile targets to my home soon!
