Dallas prepares for Open Carry...

Saw this on my Yahoo News ticker this morning...
http://news.yahoo.com/soon--licensed-te ... 59145.html
I have mixed feelings on this.
- good on ya Dallas for taking the time to put something like this together. In the end, I guess they are doing their best to make sure the community is prepared for the new law.
- Why do they mention Worship Centers specifically? If you read the text, it implies that carry at Worship Centers is already prohibited (with no mention of signage or notice). The video says open carry at Worship Centers will be prohibited (with no mention of signage or notice). Is Open Carry prohibited at Worship Centers specifically or do they need to post 30.07 or give notice?
Take care.

Can someone explain no OC at a worship center? Doesn't a church have to post 30.07?

Yes, churches and other places of worship will have to post.

Places of worship can prohibit open carry by notifying people via a sign, card or orally. They can choose their method of notification.

Article wrote:Back in February, the Texas Police Chiefs Association sent a survey to more than 800 police chiefs from across the state. Of the 200 or so who responded, nearly 75 percent said they were opposed to open carry.
So 75% (600) of the members of the Texas Police Chiefs Association either didn't care enough about the issue to respond, or were in support and feared retaliation by political hacks in city government. If you recall, when the results of this survey were first being reported during the legislative session, no one mentioned that only 25% of Chiefs receiving the survey responded.

Because manipulation numbers is liar's trick when he just keep silent on a critical info.
So 75% of 200 is 150. Out of 800 that is 18% support. Does not look good, no?
