Went to Fuzzys this afternoon and saw several 30.07 signs posted already.
Good news is no 30.06 still

I'll quietly look for another taco stand.

I don't mean to be soft on the right to carry, but a 30.07 sign won't make me think less of a place. The establishment is just asking you to cover up. It's pretty much the same as asking someone to zipper up, your exposing your self.
If I ran a place that was frequented by soccer Moms and Social Justice Warrior types, I wouldn't want bubba comming in with his stuff all hanging out. Maybe some places it might be appropriate. But I look at 30.07 as a form of dress code and see no reason to read more into the signs.

This is a good point and I thought about what you said, but I wonder if the social justice crowd wants me ( A bona fide Bubba) not to read my bible while having lunch or would they also be offended when my family prays before a meal. Carrying a gun is legal and so is openly practicing my faith neither are popular to the left.
How far do we go to pacify people that want to change us?

I just look at it as a dress code, I am not a socialite, nor very fashion minded, some places require me to where shoes, and a sleaved shirt. Others might require me to wear a tie and jacket. I don't particularly like it, but I comply usually without much grumbling.
I don't see open carry as a big deal though and don't equate it closely with my right to bear arms ... Any more than a restriction on t-shirts is a right to bare arms.
30.06 is a whole different story.

I agree. Now if they elect to post 30.06, then I look for another place

Co- owner of Fuzzy's is a friend and he would have no problem with CHL. I have no issue with a 30.07 sign. It will not affect me.

I'll probably get a(nother) 'necro-poster' award for this one, but I didn't want to start a new thread just for this. There is now a Fuzzy's Tacos in north McAllen. Bringing another taco place to a city on the border is definitely "Coals to Newcastle" (ask Noggin or one of the other UK expatriates for a translation, if you need to) but I decided to go take a look since there are a number of Fuzzy's in the Texas3006.com database, so I was curious as to what I'd find. The McAllen location has been up and running for three days and so far, it's not posted. Will check back a few times to see if that changes in the next month or so......

The real test will be whether they put up signage after the first person OC's there.

Passed by the location of the only Fuzzy's in Garland last night and to my surprise, GONE! I only ate there a couple of times. Not sure why it closed because always had a steady business. I haven't been there since they posted back last January. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not, just wondering.

Not all, but a large number of OCers are tirelessly dogmatic about OCing.
There's a simple solution for 30.07 posted businesses.
Go elsewhere...
That what the majority of LTC concealed carriers do when they encounter 30.06 posted businesses.
Easy!

I think 99.5% of all OC'ers do exactly what you recommend. Then there are the 0.5% from organizations which shall not be named who do stupid stuff like carrying AR's and AK's into the place instead of just going elsewhere. That very small minority of folks are no friends to the rest of us.
