Wife was attacked by a man, she had advised not fish in a marine sanctuary, husband and former Iraqi war vet and martial arts expert, stepped in to defend her. Eight of the fisherman's friends stepped in to help him out. Only one man was taken to the hospital.
Apparently the husband and Iraqi vet is being investigated by the police as defending your wife with your martial arts skills against nine attackers is also frowned upon in gun free Australia.

Yup. I have a buddy in Australia who was having his home broken into. He called the police and while on the phone he was told not to hurt the intruder or he could be charged. For some reason the guy stopped trying to get in. When the police arrived they too told him if he hurt the intruder they would be charged. I'm glad I live in Texas.

So much for being an advanced civilization, when the criminal element is protected while committing a crime then we a devolved into worse than barbarians

As they're looting your house, ask them if they'd like a spot of tea before they assault you.
It would help keep up their energy and spirit.
Makes as much sense as not defending hearth and home...

The people there deserve what they got. They have let the gov ascend to this point and that's what you get. Same with England, Germany, etc. It's the same fate they want for us.

They want to allow concealed carry of mace and stun gun.
Oh my.
