Local schools take 30.06 and 30.07 DOWN!

Happy, happy, happy.
The Mexia ISD posted 30.06 and 30.07 on all their school buildings - uselessly and redundantly, I might add, given the federal law in place.
There were also 30.06 and 30.07 signs posted at the entrance to the alternative school parking lot, which I figure probably wasn't lawful for them.
Today, I see the signs on the parking lot entrance have come down. There is a generic, unenforceable gunbuster sign, which may apply to MPA carry in vehicles, but nothing invoking 30.06 and 30.07.
A positive move. Teachers can protect themselves to and from work. The presence of signs was no safety measure, anyway.
