I live in the country and have a small country store nearby. On Fridays they cash the local farm worker's pay checks. One Friday night there was a half drunk in the store. He was mad because they didn't have enough cash on hand the cash his pay check. He began cussing and ranting. I just watched, but I did put a bit of distance between us and moved so I would have a clear field of fire just in case. The clerk even offered him an 18 pack on credit until she got enough cash to cash his check. He became belligerent and threatened her with violence. I was about to draw my CC weapon when this 4 foot nothing Abuela stepped in and said your name is so and so isn't it. He acknowledged that it was. She then says that she was good friends with his mother and that if he did not apologize and behave himself, she was going over to her house to get her. He left with his tail between his legs.

Saved his life, maybe.

The guy may have been a jerk but at least he had respect/fear for his elders and mother.

Grandmother's don't take no crap they have already raised theirs and your not going to intimidate them
