Okay, so the title is misleading. Apparently she was shooting at the dog. And killed it. He was collateral damage.

So many questions:
Were the dogs actively fighting? Dog fights are so high paced, I can't imagine shooting into one with the expectation of not hitting the "good" one.
Was the boyfriend also trying to break up the fight? (See question 1)
Will the relationship outlast all the lawyers calling the boyfriend offering to sue her?

Sounds like a fun family to go visit huh?

Just be sure your out of the line of fire if the dogs start growling.
Is this one of the dog whisperers methods for controlling aggressive dogs? I missed that episode.
