Holtz is a perceptive fellow. I shared with many of my correspondents a commencement speech he gave a few years ago, superb!
You know Holtz didn't write or say this. His neighbor the doctor doesn't make more than he does, and I doubt he worked in a restaurant.
When he was coach at Arkansas some years ago, he claimed that "playing Texas in Austin is like playing Notre Dame........ in Rome!"

Who authored really isn't important to me. The fact that it has been repeated to keep the message alive is enough for me.
