Fingerprints Again?

So I applied to be an LTC instructor today, and two things stuck out.
When I went to pay, it stated it costs $100 for unlicensed to register to be an instructor, with no other option. I paid, but I do indeed have my LTC. Strange.
And I have to get fingerprints again, even though I have my LTC? Is that standard?

The Instructor fee is $100, regardless of whether you are licensed, or not.
And yes, strange as it may seem, you do have to be fingerprinted again.

Good to know, just strange that I could not select an option for "licensed".
Thanks.

The instructors class qualifies you for instructor certification and will also qualifies you for your LTC if you don't already have one. So, basically they don't care if you are licensed already or not. The only thing they do care about if you're licensed is that you carry concealed and do't take it out in class.

When did you get told that?
I wouldnt take a loaded gun out in class.
But in the beginning 20 years ago I would have 5 or 6 empties on just to show how to be obserevent SP.
