A couple we know have relatives living in England. (He was born & raised in England & served in the military there.) His nephew came to visit for a few weeks. I took them both to the range today, as I don't think they have available ranges there.
The nephew had never fired a gun before, and did an excellent job!

I started him off with a .22 semi-auto. He did exactly as told, keeping his finger off the trigger and kept it pointed down range at all times. He listened to range commands very well.
I then let him shoot the .38 special, followed by the .380, then the .45 acp.
He was very careful, followed guidelines, shot well, and had fun.

I thought I'd post his target. As you can see, he hit the center a lot.

Good job on the safety and markmanship lessons. Good shooting from a neophyte.

You demonstrated to these folks what has been taken from them. Beware of a government that denies things to you "for your own good".

Good job.
Good teachers are good teachers regardless of the subject.
Some subjects & students are just more fun to teach.

This was definitely fun for me too, even though I only shot a few rounds as an example.

I took a friend from Denmark to the range the other day. But they closed it down right when we arrived :(

I really wanted him to get some time in.
