20ga Pierced Primers?

Running into an issue with my O/U 20 ga. I bought a case of Remington Gun Club rounds and am seeing numerous pierced primers, mainly on the bottom barrel.

I have read on the Internet that others have experienced similar issues with the Gun Club 20 ga shells, even from some high-end guns like Citori's. I have not had a chance to shoot any other brands yet to try and see if they do the same, but just wondered if anyone on the forum had experienced something similar? I am thinking it may just be cheaper and thin primers being used in the manufacturing.

I know! Keith, that looks dangerous. I looked at the close ups and thought, no way!

I'm with Andy. Is there any way you can send back what you have left and ask for a refund?

I contacted Remington not long ago about some 12 g that I had bought a case of. They were not crimped very well and there was lead pellets spilling freely in one box. I contacted them and they offered to send me a mailing label to ship and replace the whole case. More than I wanted to do but this appears to be a safety issue and I would send them back. I did some testing of small pistol primers some time back and the Remingtons were the softest and CCI was the hardest. Don't know it that follows with 209 as I have never purchased Remington 209 as they are so expensive. I do reload Remington cases though and they reload well. I only work with 12 g.
