Went with my friend Nick back to B-Tactical in Caddo Mills and worked on zeroing the scope at 100 yards. Here's the results:
This is my AR-15 with Weaver Classic Extreme 2.5x10 56MM scope. The lower is a New Frontier (polymer), and the upper is a 5.56 stainless from SOTA

Nice vid! My Pops taught me that method many moons ago. He and my Dad would argue about it, mostly about wasting money on ammo.

As it was, I had to walk 100 yards to look at the target to see where I was hitting - and I was enjoying shooting too much to stop.

I'm retired, so money for new weapons is not as readily available as it once was. I bought this rifle for the zombie apocalypse. So, I probably won't be buying another. But who knows? Things could change. One thing's for sure. I'll never catch up with you or Beiruty.
