I found this interesting article about the extremes that animal rights activists are pushing. Possibly even trying to outlaw pet ownership.

In reading the article, I found this really odd quote

Dallas Zoo President Gregg Hudson described the move as a “rescue mission,” saying the elephants were going to be killed to make room for rhinos at a reserve in the drought-stricken country.

We all know that Dallas does not have a zoo. They have an amusement park that has the word "zoo" in it's name, but if that's the place this guy runs then why is someone an expert on the care of animals just because they run an amusement park?
