Hello. I am under 21, non-military, nor have a CCL/LTC. Is it legal for me to carry my rifle, such as a sub 2000, or scar inside a backpack? I have tried googling this question but no straight answer. I am in Fort Worth if that matters. Thanks

IANAL(I am not a lawyer) but from what I've read on the penal code - there is no age restriction on carrying a longarm. It must be carried in a way not calculated to cause alarm. So to the best of my knowledge, you should be able to conceal carry any long gun as long as its not restricted by the property(posted no licenced gun sign) or if they are licenced by the TABC.

Others may be able to shed some ignorance that I may have, I've never really researched concealed carry of longarms.
