Does anyone have any experience with yildiz over/unders? I've hunted birds my whole life with my grandpas trusty ole 870 full choke, and don't get me erong I love that thing and I'm pretty good with it, I want an o/u for dove ssason. From what I can tell they are mostly decent guns (warranty service through briley), but I want to hear some more about them. I'm probably going to grab one on friday unless someone here talks me,out of it. I just want it for bird hunting mostly, and I really really like double barrels, not sure why. Of course I would rather a beretta or such but that'll have to wait a few years after school.

I have never shot one but a friend has a 12 gauge o/u and whenever he shoots sporting clays with us I bring a dowel with us so that he can run it down the barrel to eject his shells.

I have a Baikal IZH-27em-1c

This is the Russian made Izhevsk shotgun marketed under the Baikal name and imported by EAA. Remington took these and re-branded them as the their Spartan models. Decent guns. Function well and solid.

The Yildiz is stuff is very similar. Solid shotguns and work well for the money. Yildiz actually has some really pretty guns with fancy engraving. Would not be afraid to buy one.

After shooting a buddy's 12 gauge during a dove sitting, I got one at Academy approx 5 years ago in 20 gauge. I chose a youth model, in fact, for myself because I wanted the shorter barrels, then added recoil pad to get the stock length desired. It came with 5 chokes and was in the $500 range. It is very light, easy to carry for my purposes with dove and quail and ejectors have worked great for keeping up with hulls.

Good deal, now just to decide if I want the stainless or aluminum model!

Got one several years back mid grade 12ga. Love it. I am not sure what's up with the ejectors on rotor's buddies gun, but he needs to clean it or have Briley look at it. Mine land at least ten foot behind me.

I also assed the Limbsaver butt pad that screws on, mainly for length but also recoil. The stock is quite light, so after a day of shooting you know you were there. A buddy filled the butt of his with shot to help add some weight and reduce felt recoil.

I got mine, Limbsaver pad and a takedown case all for about $550, but like I said it was several years back.

I've had one for several years. I shoot sporting clays with it. It's very light, so if you do a lot of shooting you'll feel it. But it would carry really well. I have a limbsaver shoulder pad that I wear when I plan on shooting more than a half round.

One of the best bargin O/Us for the money. I have owned three in past and I had no trouble with them. They are not for high volume shooting in my opinion. At a thousands round or so in a year they should last many years.

My wife has a 20 gauge version, and likes it.

I own The yildiz A71 12 gauge semi automatic shotgun, 400$ was the price it came with 4 screw chokes a tool for the chokes and a plug it carries 5 rounds without the plug. the best shotgun I've ever owned little recoil, nice spread, I've put round after round in there and it hasn't lost its touch it even still has the fresh out of the box smell. id recommend this shotgun to anybody, but I cannot find any accessories for it, anybody know of any? Also I'm looking for a home defense/ tactical shotgun worth the money i came across the soviet made saiga does anybody have any knowledge of any model? thanks for the help.
