Uh, So every soldier who has fired the gun in combat over the last 50 years has committed a a war crime?

That will be for domestic use only. Nothing says we can't use HPs against our civilian population, they would only be illegal in an international war according to the Hague Convention.

I am still not convinced that all of these killings are not a plot to abolish the 2A. Maybe its just my tin foil hat.

Only between nations that have signed the Hague Convention. As for the Geneva Conventions if memory serves they only ban rounds that are by design, intended to cause undue suffering.

My understanding is that the military will be switching to HP for their new pistol for combat use and that US is not a signatory to the Hague Convention.
