Just a few miles south of El Paso, is an ISIS safe house run by a Kuwaiti terrorist trainer named Shaykh Mahmood Omar Khabir. According to Judicial Watch:
“Khabir trained hundreds of Al Qaeda fighters in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen and has lived in Mexico for more than a year.
“Khabir trains thousands of men to fight – mostly Syrians and Yemenis – in an ISIS base situated near the Mexico-U.S. border … near Ciudad Juárez.”
“Khabir actually brags in a European newspaper article about how easy it is to stake out American targets because the border region is wide open.”
This is an absolutely stunning statement, and if true, why hasn’t the U.S. responded?
Well, Mexico’s top diplomat wonders the same thing. According to Foreign Affairs Secretary Claudia Ruiz, the Obama administration is acting in league with a complicit U.S. media and together, both are:
“… culpably neglecting this phenomenon…. This new wave of fundamentalism could have nasty surprises in store for the United States.”
Whoa! Now let’s review this.
According a Judicial Watch article published yesterday, ISIS has a terror training base near Ciudad Juárez, Mexico – a city of 1.3 million people – which is right on the U.S. – Mexican border.
At this terror training base, “thousands” of terrorists – mostly from Syria and Yemen – have been trained – presumably for operations against U.S. targets – by a top Al Qaeda trainer.

If True, why Mexico cannot shut down any terrorist camps?

Follow the money Beiruty. They are likely all corrupt and being paid off handsomely. Ask yourself why are there still cartels? I just spent time with a former LEO trainer who had been working in Brownsville. The cross border illegal traffic reportedly goes largely unchallenged as the Federal Government turns a blind eye. If Hillary is elected, we will see this activity grow and move Northward at an unprecedented pace.

My wife and I lived in Louisiana for a couple of years, when the corruptness (at every level, every day) got to be too much for us, we moved back to Texas (should have never left).

But one redeeming thing they had down there....was a phenomenon whereby exceptionally 'bad' people would just disappear.

I know there isn't a 'Honey Island Swamp' in El Paso, but I bet there is a lot of suitable desert land to serve the same purpose. ;-)

John, can I just come right out and say that I love you, bro'? "rlol"

You know........ with a backhoe and a water source, you can make a swamp. There's water in the Rio Grand, which flows right through El Paso. I'm guessing that some enterprising individual could come up with a backhoe. Just sayin'............ :smilelol5:

Lots of God forsaken swamp land were someone could go missing and no one would ever search, lots of alligators and crabs and other critters to eat the evidence. Do the math. :coolgleamA:

A friend of mine is a security manager for a land owner in south Texas. This pic is from property south of Falfurrias. He advised this is a nightly occurrence.
Illegals.jpg
I asked him about his experience with folks that are crossing and are not from south/central America. He said the info he gets from their Border Patrol contacts tell him they do not tend to cross on foot with the normal Coyote's. Folks that are non-Spanish speaking tend to have smaller groups that are less obvious and seem to have the ability to travel with English speaking contacts that are citizens that seem to make movement less suspicious.

Read the book "Day of Wrath" by the author of "One Second After", William Forstchen. Fiction, albeit very believable and very scary. Especially if the above is true. It is about multiple simultaneous terrorist attacks in the US. One of which occurs in Round Rock, Texas.

All certainly true to the best of my first hand knowledge, which I get from having supported a Federal task force on this and another related matter over the past four years. And some careful digging on the Internet will bring up even more (with no classification level). Actually, it is much worse than the above which is just the tip of the iceberg, including the why and how they get away with it in Mexico and so on. And there are also individuals who regularly conduct penetration "exercises" - and they clearly have special ops training and background. I myself do not go to Mexico and avoid the border area.

All scary stuff. I recommend the movie Sicario to those who have not seen it. You can get it on DVD at Wally World for just a few bucks. We can hope within the next few months El Chapo will be transported from his prison outside Juarez to the "comforts" of a federal prison here in the USA. There is a scene out of Sicario that depicts such a transport. Unreal.

We good folks in Texas face huge threats south of the border. Few days back big marijuana bust on a ranch between Menard and Mason, Texas. Millions of dollars worth of marijuana plants seized. Local rumor is that the Cartel was involved in the operation.

There has been known cartel activity within the National Forests that are located in Texas (I only know about those in TX). I am a volunteer trail ranger with US Forest Service and I ALWAYS carry at least two handguns with me as I tend to be by myself and in remote areas (and most often lacking in any cell service). It is not a place to be lacking in situational awareness.
