Just to be sure I am reading this correctly.
When looking at States that grant resicprocity
with Texas CHL as to travel in a car.
Going from Texas to LA to MS to Al to FL (I-10) I can carry (out of sight) a handgun. If stopped should I show my CHL just as in TX.
Leaving Friday and would like to do this correctly.
I have the CCW app and want to be sure I am reading it right.
Thank you

I just did Fort Worth to Panama City Beach, FL and back last week.

You are GTG the whole way with a Texas LTC, must inform LEO everywhere. You can even OC until you hit the FL border, then you must conceal while in FL.

ETA: Stop and pee before you hit Mobile. Total time between the tunnel and bridge was over an hour... no other way through.

Don't speed or otherwise attract attention and you might be okay if you don't have a Hillary/etc. bumper sticker on your vehicle.

Take the hazmat truck route around the tunnel, or look at map I 65 north to I 165 south to ALT 90 (Bay Bridge Rd.) To get around tunnel if backed up. It has been years since I have been there but all hazmat trucks aren't allowed in the tunnel so there is a way around.

Also, brush up on the differences those other states impose on carriers.

They don't precisely mirror Texas LTC laws.
