I think it is safe to say that you'll never find me underneath an oil tanker that is sliding by just over my head.......in OR out of the water!!!

I've been underneath my last ship for sonar transducer inspection when it was drydocked. Granted, it was nowhere near as large as a tanker, only 225 ft long and 2,000 tons. But I will say that I didn't particularly like the experience knowing that I was standing under 4 million pounds of steel. Only spent as much time as needed for the inspection and didn't waste any time getting out from underneath the ship. Very eerie feeling.

Yeah I didn't like all of the bang boom clack clack before the thing even started moving... No thank you is right!
