Watching the news and noticed 30.06 / 30.07 sign outside the Dallas County Constable Office. Is that within the current law to post the building? I actually do not know, and know very little about the constables.

They are permitted to require you to disarm if you are entering a location that is not publicly accessible (holding cells for example).
If I am not mistaken only the Sheriff's office and City Police/Marshals can restrict carry in non-public portions of their buildings. Constables, DPS, ect. are not authorized to per 411.207(d)(1)

Does the Constable claim to hold court in his office?

No doubt he has a religious 3rd-grade class constantly riding a small train set in the lobby, a perpetual school-sponsored activity at an amusement park while a priest says mass nearby!

Aren't the constables usually in the same building with the JP Court for their precinct?
