Russ is a Talk only DJ during the afternoon drive in DFW. He IS a strong 2nd supporter and has a foundation that helps the families of fallen firefighters and police officers.
But he is very obnoxious and the show is R rated, even without the 7 words you can't say on TV.

as obviously stated, I love that show.
sure, there are times where I am disinterested. they can't all be pearls, right?
But, he is a straight shooter (no pun) on most issues, and I agree with most of what he says.
You DO, howeva, have to take certain things with a grain of salt. It IS a show for entertainment purposes.
I remember hearing the story about JD getting robbed at gun point. We got to hear the 911 tape of the incident, as he was in his car w/gf in tow.
dude was armed, but didn't have a good oppurtunity to pull it. I remember hearing Joy saying to him, "No no no" in regards to him reaching for it.
guess it helps to not have a violet as a gf...
was an intense little deal, though.

"Propisheniqua" would be enough for me to chuckle a bit...
Try saying it 5 times real fast and see if that stays within the "10 year old Daughter rule"...

I am trying to find it. It was over at the Eagle so it is proving a bit hard to find. Lemme email him and see if he can dig it up. it was the first of the 911 calls to be done...

I'm a listener only because theres nothing else really good on the radio anymore. Some times he funny most of the times its ridiculous but he does a good ting with his police and fire foundation.

That was actually Rob that got held up at gunpoint over in the restaurant row on Northwest highway. A friend of mine got robbed at gunpoint there as well. We no longer go there!
